Malabar is a CG animation studio, created in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2001. Integrated by a group of professionals and artists specialized in animation, post production and vfx. We work in the production of animations for advertising, films and TV, specializing in the design and character animation. Also, we are focus on the development of series and projects for kids, with a design and direction team that carries out the creative process. Currently we are in the production of the series “Minimalitos” and in the making of the pilot episode for the series “Mati and Rocco”.

 

 

We have an outstanding career in TV production for children, starting in 2001 with the "Kito pizzas" for channel “Magic Kids” and consolidated in 2006 with "Gurí Guazú on TV", a virtual and interactive program designed and developed entirely by Malabar for Channel 7 (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and TV Azteca (Mexico DF).

 

In 2010 we’ve been selected for the production of the series "Minimalitos", for channel Paka-Paka. A show dedicated for children aged from 2 to 4 years.  Season 1 consisted in 13 episodes of 11 minutes each, and we are currently finalizing 26 new chapters for season 2 of "Minimalitos" and starting the pre-production of another 26 episodes for season 3.

 

Between the Malabar portfolio you can find "Gain Oxi - Stain Happens", an internationally award-winning graphic campaign made for Flamboyant , "Bilz & Pap" , "Tigo Paraguay - Paquetigos" and "Google Ads - Difficult engajar audiência sua" three works made for Peppermelon, "Galak - Nestle" and the starting of the video game "Renegade Redemption" for mobile devices.

 

During 2011, we participated in the film "Rodencia and princess’s tooth" by David Bisbano, produced by Vista Sur SRL from Argentina in coproduction with Red Post from Perú. We’ve been charged in the simulation of fabrics for clothes and costumes of several characters.
